A family weekend away and we loved this Bach. The location was excellent. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beach was a quick minute walk away. Joy and Gig are wonderful hosts. They provided everything you need for a family getaway. Extra towels are provided which was great as we went swimming to the beach daily. Thank you Joy and Gig for the extra goodie treats. A lovely touch to a wonderful getaway.
Joy and Gig were lovely hosts, very responsive and had some great snacks. worth noting that the top bunk isn't suitable for smaller children as the floor is concrete
Our family absolutely loved staying here!! Joy is absolutely lovely and made us all feel right at home
It was a pleasure to stay with Joy - nice house not too far from the beach with great vibes. Kitchen was well stocked and the house was well furnished.
I would come back and spend at least a week here. The beach, the friendly response made us all felt welcomed.

Pukehina has a local dairy within walking distance which also serves great fish & chips and ice creams. It is a very friendly small kiwi beach town.
Pukehina is 40 minutes from Tauranga, Rotorua and Whakatane all being tourist hot spots. Closest supermarket is in Te Puke about 15 minutes drive. There is almost no public transport available in Pukehina and no taxis either
