As described, getting to Heidi's place was challenging and you really needed to follow her instructions clearly. It was a little unfortunate that Google Translate ended up auto-translating "Casa di Heidi" to "House of Heidi" and we struggled to find the place on Google Maps initially. We had to then search up another nearby destination, get there, before re-routing to Casa di Heidi. The place was lovely and a short flight of stairs (beware those with luggages) to the apartment. The view was amazing in the sunny morning and starry night. Giulia and Heidi were both very responsive and I am grateful for their hospitality. The apartment was well equipped and even when the temperature dipped to 5⁰C, the blankets provided were warm enough for a cosy night's sleep. Would highly recommend for the mid-April season!

My stay at Casa di Heidi was absolutely wonderful. The views are impeccable and the town of of Zoppè di Cadore is the most peaceful, beautiful town. Everyone I met was so kind! I highly recommend walking from the house down the road into town (only one road!) which is about 10-15 minutes down (it's longer going up, depending on your physical ability). In the town is a lovely restaurant in the B&B there. Though I didn't have a chance to eat there, my neighbors told me the food was great. I cannot recommend enough going to Bar Pelmo. They have a large pool table, full drink and coffee bar and some snacks, and a great atmosphere. The church in town is also wonderful. Heidi and Giulia (her colleague) communicated well and the apartment was exactly as advertised. Unfortunately there was an issue with the WiFi but I think it was only a temporary one. Thankfully I didn't need it much, as I was out of the apartment exploring for most of my stay. I would definitely recommend this spot!
