Our family of 5 stayed here for a few days during Spring Break this past week. Dale's property is absolutely gorgeous! We had the best time climbing hundreds of rocks and boulders, building a fire in the cave, relaxing in the jacuzzi, and enjoying the beautiful blue sky. The house itself is older without the bells and whistles, with only 1 bathroom, but had a lot of kitchenware, along with plenty of food seasonings. Plenty of books to read, too! He has a lot of beautiful glass decor which may not be conducive to younger children. Dale offered for us to take sprigs of his rosemary and even let us tour another beautiful property he is designing and building! Dale is very responsive and does a great job explaining everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Dale's place and would recommend it to others looking for a beautiful, relaxing, interesting place.

I can’t say enough good about Dale’s house. The views were amazing. The ability to walk outside and hike and climb boulders was amazing. Everything from the top patio where I ate breakfast each morning to the hot tub and pool…just great. We had a crazy windstorm while we were there and Dale even offered us an additional night at a reduced rate to make up for it. Dale and his place are class acts. Will never forget our weekend! Thanks Dale!

Amazing property, full of amenities! Sits on the edge of Joshua Tree NP, with amazing views, hot tub and pool and beautifully curated outdoor areas, even access to a private cave! There are also local interesting landscapes great for a small outdoor walk for a picnic or to take cool pictures. I would love the chance to stay again!

There is absolutely no way for me to express how beautiful Dales place is. You have to see it in person - it has to be experienced. Your whole soul will thank you! I set my alarm extra early every morning to make tea and enjoy a walk around the property and climb the boulders and sit and watch the sunrise. The pool was the perfect place to sit in the sun and enjoy the private quiet amazingness of it all. It’s by far my favorite air bnb I have ever stayed at. We were staying here while on a work trip so we didn’t have as much time as I would have liked to spend here. I plan to come back with my family and spend a lot more time. The home is so quaint - so beautifully done, with so much thought and detail in each nook and cranny. It felt so cozy and peaceful. I loved every conversation I had either Dale. He is not your typical Air BNB owner. He is very involved in the process and really cares so much about his space so you know it’s well loved and cared for. I can’t say enough about it.
