We loved having space to run around, the full kitchen, laundry, and easy parking. East to get to all of the fun spots around the area- Monterey, Elkhorn Slough, Carmel by the Sea, and Point Lobos. Would stay here again- our 2 year old loved having the private backyard and it’s a very quiet neighborhood.
The house was beautiful and comfortable. However, Grand Welcomes communication throughout the planning and throughout the trip was frustrating. Many of their messages were auto generated, so when I would ask specific questions the responses I received wouldn’t really apply. I also had a hard time finding their book with information. It was in a cabinet in the living room. Having it out and accessible would’ve saved a bit of time hunting around.
We had a great stay. The WiFi information provided in the AirBNB messaging was inaccurate. When we followed up with Grand Welcome it took them a full 24 hours to respond. I had to work a bit while at this stay so this was inconvinient. Also, the fridge is not fit well into it's location so opening and closing the fridge is damaging the framing around it. This was just poorly designed. It did not compromise function but should be addressed.
Our time at this Seaside home was wonderful. We (three friends) came to the area for friend’s memorial service. This was a welcoming, calm, and peaceful place for us to come back to each night. We, especially liked the large, beautiful, spacious bathroom, and the gas fireplace in the living room. The Airbnb was very clean and had a nice kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped to make meals if you don’t want to eat out. Everything looked brand new. There was an area in the back to hang out on warmer days. We could see the bay every day when we left. Access to and from the Airbnb was fairly easy. Great parking. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. One of our favorites was The Butter House. The host provided all we needed and responded quickly to our questions. We highly recommend this Airbnb to others. Also we hope to return one day for a happier occasion. You will love it!
