The stay overall was good. The room was large and is located close to Pedu Junction where there are a number of shops, chop bars and transport links. The bed was very large and the room had both aircon and a fan. However, I travelled with my partner who has asthma and we could tell that the room was not very well ventilated and felt a bit damp in the air. There were also times when we travelled back early in the morning and had to wait for a while before being let back into the compound. The electricity and wifi both went down for a considerable amount of time during our stay. The shared kitchen also was also worse for wear so I didn't use it other than to heat up food. Overall the host and property manager were responsive to our needs and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable despite the issues.

The home was very large with most of the space empty and gutted. Only a few rooms furnished and not quite as the photos depict. The house caretakers were very nice. But it can be an uneasy experience for solo travelers. I rented two rooms for myself, my mom and my guide who is Ghanaian. The guide thought the home might be unsafe if he were not with us. The caretaker went out to get us water, the host offered a driver and a cook which we didn’t need but it was very accommodating. Henry was also very quick to respond which was nice.
