We had an amazing stay! This house is located on a beautiful section of intercoastal waterway to wake up to and to watch the sun set. Wish we had more time to enjoy the backyard firepit and indoor sauna! The house is beyond well-designed and thought-out. The owners took care to appreciate even the smallest details. would stay here again...and again!

We loved the location as it was only 10-15 minutes from a lot of the local activities and sites on our itinerary, plus it was extremely serene and peaceful. The neighbors appear to still be getting used to an airbnb in the area yet were pleasant nonetheless. The house was just ehat we needed and would also be excellent for two couples or a family with older kids. We appreciated the easy communication with our hosts and would not hesitate to book there again - really!

Our group of two couples stayed for two nights at the Hideaway. The house is well-designed, equipped and comfortable. The furniture, appliances and kitchen items are in great condition. We particularly enjoyed the screened porch for outdoor dining. The location is very private and quiet. The view over the marsh is beautiful in the day and night, especially under a full moon; it's very peaceful there. Hunting Island State Park is a short drive away and is a nature and beach lover's place. We were very happy with our stay.

What a beautiful and modern place and it looks just like the pictures. My husband, son, and I thoroughly enjoyed our quiet time at Etter’s place. We will certainly return.

The house was a peaceful retreat. A short drive from beaches, great restaurants, and cute small towns. Etter had a great list of suggestions for food and fun in the area as well as a state park pass for nearby hunting island. Our kids loved the driftwood on south beach within the park.
