This whole place is a VIBE. We came here during spring break to explore the San DIego area and enjoy some time away from our suburban family lifestyle. Everything is understated luxury and I felt like we were staying in our own personal resort property. Comfy beds, fantastic bathrooms, and the outdoor space phenomenal. It’s hard to decide if you want to stay in and enjoy the sunsets or walk to the many local spots for food and drink. We could not have picked a better spot. No better way to pretend you live in a different place for a week and feel like a local. Enjoy!

Matt's place is impeccable, the design and finishes are breathtaking, the ocean view and sound of the clashing waves immediately calm and captivate you. Kitchen and bath rooms are well stocked. Bed/beddings are comfortable. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset on the big patio. The neighborhood is quiet (except the rare train track honks) and walkable (it's on a one-way street with a dedicated pedestrian path). Note the stairs down to the beach is steep, access is onto a part of beach with waves and pebble street, it's not kids friendly but nevertheless so cool to check out if possible to your needs. We can't wait to return again.

Matt and Courtney were amazing hosts. The home is beautiful, the view is incredible, and the location is perfect in Encinitas. The house was perfectly appointed, clean, and comfortable. Courtney went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Good smelling lotions, candles, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and a divine outdoor tub made this truly a luxurious experience. Thank you so much!!
