Great location close to shops, restaurants and public transport. Nice big apartment with great amenities.
We had a very comfortable stay in this apartment. It was spacious and clean and met the needs of our family of 4. Very conveniently located close to a shopping mall. The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had. We would happily stay here again.
Great location and fairly new apartment. Beds as described. The place had not been cleaned properly and we needed to call back the cleaners. They were not experienced, didn’t bring a vacuum or do a proper job. They had to come back twice and the second time they let themselves in. Apartment what we needed for the week. Good layout. With a proper clean I’d give it 5 stars. There is only one key provider and you can’t get through the doors to the mailbox unless someone else lets you in, for after hours this is not satisfactory.
A Beautiful unit in the Middle of Woden. Short walk to Westfields shopping Centre and bus interchange. I would suggest anyone who intends to rent this home out to ask for a 2nd Key before check in as a cleaner call out fee is charged for a second key after check in. Another small blemish on this house is AirKeeper's policy on no unregistered people staying at the accommodation. I fully understand that they want to prevent parties and other possible damage but a visit from a local Canberran friend to 3 people who cannot drive should be allowable. These are the only things that are preventing this from being a 5/5 experience in my opinion. Responses from Airkeeper are very prompt and I cannot fault their response times to questions I had. Come Easter 2025 I will definitely be checking to see if this home is available and will be requesting a second key before check in. lol.
The apartment on the surface was as pictured. But the check in instructions and in particular the car parking were very confusing and hard to navigate. On entering the apartment the oven, splash back and stove were dirty and there where clothes from the owner in the wardrobe. Airkeeper sent a cleaner the next day to rectify these issues. The kitchen was very under supplied with basic utensils such as no tongs, colander, peeler and clean tea towels (which I later found I the washing machine). The layout was great and so was the pool area. Given the price, it fell well short of expectations.
When you think of Canberra, you probably think of a drizzly gray city with little spark. However, Canberra has truly grown into its own over the past few years, and it certainly has a lot on offer. Explore the Kingston Foreshore, which has some of the best restaurants and bars in the city, or head over to the CBD (known as Civic to the locals!) and do some shopping at the newly redesigned Canberra Centre, boasting a range of luxury brands to explore. Craving some night-life excitement? Civic is the place to be, with an abundance of nightclubs, bars, and pubs - there’s sure to be something to pique your fancy. (P.S - Beirut Bunker Bar in Garema Square does bubble tea with a bit of a twist, so if you’re over 18 and love boba, this place will surely be a hit!).
Looking for something a bit more family friendly? Questacon offers plenty of fun for the whole family - with 7-storeys packed full of science and intrigue you’ll be sure to spend an entire day here. Don’t forget to check out one of Questacon’s interactive Spectacular Science Shows and explore their seasonal exhibit! Once you’ve been science’d out for the day, head across to the Australian War Memorial and explore Australian military history. Whilst this is a much more solemn attraction than Questacon, it is simply an unmissable experience and is entirely kid-friendly.
You can also enjoy a weekly market at the Old Bus Depot - an old bus shed which embraces the industrial concrete floors and high ceilings and makes it chic, with plenty of lively stallholders offering handmade goods.
There are ample public transport options in Canberra, and this apartment is a short walk away from the Woden Bus Interchange. It is reasonably easy to travel around Canberra, whether it be by car, walking, public transport, or by renting an e-scooter. For guests arriving by car, there is parking both on the premises and on the street.
