Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located toward the far end of the Peninsula on the ocean side right on the beach. Beautiful views during the day, sunsets at night. The boardwalk and ocean are right underneath your window. Occasionally you can see dolphins from your window. Walk to the bay for paddleboarding, swimming. Close to 2nd street and 2nd & PCH for restaurants. Easy access to the marina, Shoreline Village, aquarium, downtown Long Beach, convention center, cruiseship terminal. The apartment is the 2nd floor of the 3 story building and has private access from the alley way. You need to walk up 1 flight of stairs. There is no balcony attached. There is 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 bath. In the living room is a pullout sofa that turns into a full size bed. For other sleeping arrangements, there is a single size air mattress, a chair that turns into a single bed and a full size blow up mattress. All can be used in the living room. All bedding is supplied. We have 1 "pack and play" for infants. Unlike many other properties, we have AC/heat. There are beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, toys, and a folding wagon to move your stuff to the beach. The kitchen is small, but fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, subzero fridge, keurig coffee maker, and toaster. We supply keurig pods, sugar, creamer, and splenda.

located towards the far end of the Long Beach Peninsula. Low key and friendly neighbors. Everything is close by. The entire length of the Peninsula is about 1 mile. The distance from 66th to 67th or across Ocean Blvd is only 200 ft.
Access to the beach is on both sides of Ocean Blvd: the bay side has no waves and a wider beach, good for kids. The ocean side has waves and sunsets and a berm.
The city does berm upkeep and rebuilds it on a regular basis.
The peninsula has a liquor store and laundromat on 62nd place (easily walkable).
There is a paddleboard and kayak rental center at the corner of Ocean and Bayshore. You can rent bikes by the hour at the beach.
There are plenty of restaurants close by on 2nd Street and 2nd &PCH.
Shoreline Village, the convention center, Long Beach Museum of Art, the Aquriuam of the Pacific, and the Pike shopping center are easily accessible.
Parking is on the street. The easiest is to park on 66th Pl. If that is not available, try 67th or on the other side of Ocean Blvd at 66th. There is usually no problem finding parking.
Depending on the weather and storms, the berm gets built up to prevent waves from crashing over the boardwalk. This weather doesn't happen often.
There is only 1 way in and out of the Peninsula: Ocean Blvd. Smaller streets come off Ocean on either side of the Peninsula to either the ocean side or the bay side.
With the Circuit app, you can get free rides provided by the city to destinations close by, all the way from Ballast point to Shoreline Village.
There are numerous bike or scooter rental places.
There is the aqualink that provides sea shuttles from Ballast Point to Shoreline Village.
