The car-free stations Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp can not be reached by car, only with a cable car.
Note the following:
Arrival by car;
West Switzerland: via the A9 from Lake Geneva, towards Brig-Furka-Bed Talstation. Cableway to Bettmeralp.
Italy: Throughout the year by Simplon Pass to Brig - Furka - Betten Talstation. Cableway to Bettmeralp
or by car Iselle - Brig direction - Furka to Betten Talstation. Cableway to Bettmeralp
Germany:
Via Basel - Bern - Thun - Kandersteg (Autoverlad Lötschberg) - Goppenstein - Brig, then in the direction of Furka to Betten Talstation. Cableway to Bettmeralp
via Zurich - direction Gotthard - Furka (Realp - Oberwald), go through the Goms towards Brig to Betten Talstation. Cableway to Bettmeralp
Important: Winter equipment for the car is mandatory!
Arrival by public transport
Arrival to Brig by SBB (Swiss Federal Railways)
West Switzerland: Geneva - Lausanne - Zion - Brig
Germany: Basel - Bern - Brig
Zurich: Zurich - Lucerne - Göschenen or Zurich - Bern - Brig
From Brig or Göschenen take the Matterhorn Gotthardbahn (MGBahn) to the Talstation "Betten Talstation". From here you can reach your holiday destination Bettmeralp with the gondola (7 to 10 min.).
Inform before leaving, what the recent state of the mountain passes and traffic regulations are.
