we have visited Key West many times over the past 14 years and have stayed in many different locations, Paradise on Von Phister was absolutely our favorite house! The neighborhood is very quiet and so peaceful. We loved coffee on the porch every morning. Restaurants and Duval are just a short bike ride away, and the beach is just around the corner. The house is beautiful, so many places to curl up with a book, couches and chairs very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean! The house was very well equipped with laundry detergent, paper towels, tp, even spices in the kitchen! We felt right at home the minute we walked in. Our hosts were very responsive, friendly, and super helpful! I highly recommend this property!!

Great location, easy access to beaches and town. It’s a very cool older home with a lot of character. However, the furniture is disappointing, tired and nothing matches. It looks like it was furnished with one off, used pieces. The center cushion on the couch sags so much it is lower than the sides given how much it’s been used. Then there’s miscellaneous wicker chairs in the master bedroom that don’t match anything else in there. The kitchen table has four different types of chairs around it. Out of the entire home I found only two semi comfortable chairs given how past their prime everything is in the house. The furniture needs updating. For what I paid and how cool the house is I expected more. I’d stay again but not until there’s new furniture. Sound proofing is also an issue. It sounds like the people using the bedrooms next to you are in your room. The host who is not the owner is great, clear communication and very responsive to any issues. Highly recommend.
