Nestled amongst mature trees and gardens our beautiful home bursts warmth and character. Located across the road from the world famous Tongariro River makes this the ideal location for outdoor adventures including fly-fishing, bike rides & skiing. In the winter relax by the fire, or when the weather is warmer, enjoy the spacious and private section for al fresco living - with decking at both the front and rear you can enjoy your morning coffee, and enjoy a game of Pétanque or Corn Hole. Our cottage offers 2 bedrooms with queen beds and plenty of secure off-street parking for cars and a boat. As you approach the cottage, you'll be greeted by a deck leading up to the front door. The deck contains a covered seating area with a bench for eating outside plus ample space to hang up wet coats and store muddy shoes and boots. The section is fully fenced and depending on the time of year plums and feijoas are available for easy picking. The double garage offers somewhere to store fishing gear or bikes and outside the garage is a fish cleaning table with fresh running water. Inside the cottage you will find tea, coffee, sugar and other pantry staples that will ensure that you have the basics covered. An iron and ironing board is located in the bedroom wardrobe. As an extra bit of entertainment there are a variety of board games, books and DVDs and outside you can enjoy playing darts, corn hole or pétanque on the dedicated pétanque court. Dogs are welcome upon request as long as they are well behaved, we ask that you clean up after your dog and refrain from letting them on the beds and furniture. Please enquire about bringing your pet.
