Great house, we enjoyed the pool and all the space

We arrived at the house and while it had so much potential, it was not as described. The description said the kitchen was fully equipped yet the majority of cabinets were empty. The silverware drawer had visibly dirty utensils. There was visible mouse poop throughout the house and the floor was dirty. When we took the barbecue cover off the grill, three mice ran out. We ended up seeking support from AirBnB who provided excellent customer service. They worked with the host to cancel and refund our reservation and helped us find a new location. The house has so much potential, with some care, a deep clean, and a restock of kitchenware, it would be a great location for a large group. Hopefully the host will learn from this experience to make it much more functional and livable for future guests.

Shri was an awesome host! The house is a little worn down and could use some TLC, the floors show it most on the main level but otherwise it was a great stay! Spacious kitchen, the pool was very nice, and the location was good for us. We did struggle with the thermostat, just do your research and learn how to use the nest with no buttons before arriving here lol! Other wise, it’s a good house.

This house has the chance to be a winner. Unfortunately, after locating rodent feces through out the kitchen and its counter, on the floors of both first and second story it was a bit of a turnoff. We made the owner aware of this immediately, along with the propane tank to the BBQ which was empty. He had a rodent specialist visit, and we noticed traps inside the house. We didn't get any findings on the inspection, and were actually asked if we would be able to let the maintenance people into the house as if it was our job. The owner was responsive to most requests, until I mentioned any type of discounted rate due to the rodent droppings (we had to rewash every dish we used, along with appliances left on counter. After asking about any type of refund, the owner was slow to respond to this and as of this review has yet to respond. We had to go to the nearby store and exchange the empty propane tank, also had to pay for that. Great location, clear he doesn't get out to the house much.
