Perfect for large families or groups travelling together, this villa comprises of 2 distinct buildings with plenty of space throughout. WiFi and air conditioning/ heating in all the bedrooms, lounge and kitchen are included. Villa Isola is positioned in a beautiful setting on the outskirts of Siracusa, 15 minutes' drive away from the interesting and vibrant centre. Visit the many archaeological sites of the region and be sure to get your fill of Sicilian food and gelato! Enjoy the buzz of the shops, bars and restaurants in the pretty streets of Siracusa's mainland and island heart, Ortigia. What's more, the nearest sandy bay is just a few minutes' drive away, with many more beaches and inlets waiting to be explored. Main pool: 15 x 7.5 mtr, 1.2 - 2.4 mtr depth

We went there in October with a group of 8 (ages between 14 and 72). Floor plan and facilities were excellent for our group. And the villa had basically everything shown on the photos. The inhouse billiard table was not usable, but there was a small one outside instead. The separate outside seating group was replaced by a table tennis set. Even better for us. It should be said though that the house is not in a 100% pristine condition. You can easily see that at the time of its building this was an absolutely top-notch villa, but that was some time ago (with the exception of the two rooms in the old buidling, they are in much better condition). The other things look very used, especially in the kitchen. We also had some maintenaince issues with toilets and air-conditionings, but those were always solved very quickly after we reported them. And in all fairness, it has to said that the price they charged us was extremely low and the customer service excellent. Therefore, still five stars!
