The home was clean and cozy. Nice to stay warm by the fire and in the hot tub. Overall a lovely home in a beautiful setting.
House is a bit older than how it appears on the pictures but it is beautiful with nice open spaces and two very comfy living rooms. One thing I should mention is there were not a lot of things provided for guests like with other Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Such as toiletries in the bathrooms, no extra towels, or blankets, the kitchen is also not as equipped in regards to salt, spices, sugar, coffee, tea. Just a heads up to expect the bare minimum :) We still had a great time there and the host was very accommodating with our checkout we are very grateful!
I can't say enough about how special this place it. The central spaces are simply flooded with natural light and the most spectacular ocean view. On one morning of the stay, we were fortunate enough to watch a pod of Orcas breaching and hunting off the beach (both with our naked eyes and with the binoculars thoughtfully provided). The hot tub has an amazing view of the ocean during the day, with a dazzling starry sky overhead at night. And my dog loved racing around the spacious yard. I will absolutely be returning to this oasis.

自我介绍
We bought the Pointhouse property in Dec 2005 as our future retirement home while we were still residing and working in Dawson Creek, BC. It was a successful vacation rental till Feb 2010 when we began a complete reconstruction of the main house and built a new guesthouse (Aerie) on the bluff above. We made the move to the Sunshine Coast full time in January 2011 living first in the Aerie guesthouse and finally in Jun 2012, the expanded and renovated Pointhouse now a boutique B&B. With the purchase of the Annex in 2016 and completion of our shipping container studio ISO in 2020, our portfolio of luxury accommodations has grown. With the interesting guests from all over the world and a busy schedule of physician locums for Bob, retirement is still a ways off for both of us . Fortunately, life on the coast is a more relaxed pace allowing us more playtime, family time and travel opportunities.
