This is a very nice apartment! The location is great, it was clean, and having a garage was wonderful. Everything was gated so it felt safe and secure. Overall, this is a great place and I would absolutely stay here again but would hope for some better cookware.

We enjoyed staying at this property. Felt like home and very comfortable. Except for the shower in the bathroom which was not working with full force, everything else was fine.

Head outdoors for a leisurely walk at Midway Plaisance Park or a rejuvenating jog at Washington Park. Take a Divvy bike out on the nearby lakefront trail. Check out the Dusable Museum. Enjoy some match play at the massive Jackson Park Golf Course. Head to Hyde Park to explore local small businesses. Visit downtown for dinner, drinks or a show. It’s all within reach.

The neighborhood is also well-served by public transportation, making it easy to get explore without a car. Here are some of the best ways to get around:
CTA Bus: The 6, 55, and 60 buses all stop within a few blocks of the Airbnb unit. These buses can take you to the University of Chicago campus, the Hyde Park shopping district, and the Museum of Science and Industry.
CTA Green Line: The Green Line train stops at the 51st Street station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Airbnb unit. This train can take you downtown, to the Loop, and to other neighborhoods like Wicker Park and Logan Square.
Metra Electric (ME) Line makes stops at 63rd street, the University of Chicago (59th Street), McCormick Place, Museum Campus all the way north to Millennium Station downtown. Here you'll be near Millenium Park, Grant Park, the Art Institute of Chicago and the legendary Michigan Ave.
Divvy Bikes: Divvy Bikes are a great way to get around the city for short distances. There are several Divvy stations located near the Airbnb unit, so you can easily pick up a bike and ride to your destination.
Uber or Lyft: Uber and Lyft are also popular options for getting around in Chicago.
If you are planning on doing a lot of sightseeing in Chicago, we recommend getting a CityPASS, available on Tripadvisor for around $134 per adult. The CityPASS includes admission to five of the city's most popular attractions, including the Willis Tower, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Shedd Aquarium. It also includes unlimited rides on the CTA bus and train systems.
