A farmer’s lodgings once upon a time, later becoming the family ‘stead in mid-century times, you’ll find history and charm of yonder year in some of the original fixings and little twists from the sixties. We set out to create some cohesion from centuries apart, working with what we’ve got, to create a family and group friendly stay in the epicentre of Northern Tasmania. A little vintage. A little retro. A little rustic. Perfectly imperfect.

Selena's home was fantastic. we were sadly only in the area for work, but the home was so comfortable and well presented. Selena even had Easter eggs out for us, which was very kind and added to the charm of this lovely house. I would love to return with my partner for a holiday soon and recommend others do the same.
Centrally located but needs maintenance. Doors falling off hingers, leaking water under carpets is not imperfect, it's broken and should be fixed.
Great stay with lots toys provided for kids which was a huge help 😊 loved the house overall
A place to take you back in time. Well located for the quaint town of Deloraine and surrounding area.
A charming house that is welcoming and cute. close to everything. we loved our stay!

Situated in a residential area, the property is walking distance from Deloraine's central business district where you're a short stroll from the cafes and galleries that dot the main street.
We have plenty of off street parking available and also free on street parking.

We operate a small Airbnb management company called Fond of Tasmania, whilst running a catering business based on our little hobby farm just out of Launceston. I have a background in real estate property management and business ownership, and food! Lover of great food, Tasmanian wine, and all the beautiful nooks and niches our fabulous state has to offer. “Founding fond memories”
