Overlooking the iconic Grantchester Meadows, above the award winning 250 year old coaching Inn, The Blue Ball Inn. With 2 king sized ensuite bedrooms, comfortable sitting room and newly fitted kitchen/diner.A beautiful one and half mile walk along the river bank into Cambridge city centre , above the pub with wonderful ales and home cooked food in historic Grantchester.Bus stop outside the pub for Cambridge connections, ample local parking. With a private staircase from the bar downstairs, the apartment has 2 king sized bedrooms, each with TV, ensuite shower room , king sized bed and desk area. One room overlook the fields to the back of the pub, the other has views over Grantchester Meadow to the front. The sitting room also overlooks the meadows and has a settee, arm chair ,coffee table .The kitchen /diner has views over the fields to the back, and is fully equipped with oven, hob, toaster, kettle , washing machine /dryer ,fridge/freezer, nespresso machine, radio/CD player, microwave.

Lovely flat above the pub. Welcoming hosts. Beautiful walk along the river into Cambridge, but also four good pubs in Granchester itself.
One of my favourite Airbnbs I've staying in. Beautiful, spacious flat with lots of character and cute little touches, and felt very private. I'm sad we weren't able to stay longer to make the most of the pub. The hosts were lovely, responsive and very friendly. I'll be visiting again.
This accommodation was absolutely perfect for us. We had booked a cheap hotel, but fortunately our daughter said this place would be much nicer and she was right. We were staying with another couple and both bedrooms were beautiful, each with an en suite bathroom. We enjoyed having the very comfortable lounge as well as a spacious modern kitchen/ dining room. We ate in on the first night and had a wonderful meal in the pub downstairs the next day. The pub food was excellent and extremely good value. We enjoyed having that flexibility. The windows in the property are large and the views delightful. Access is either through the pub or round the back. None of us could find fault with this place and would love to go back. Toby is friendly and helpful.
A stylish and cosy apartment at the Blue Ball Inn which was perfect for our girls’ weekend. We had everything thing we needed - super comfy bedrooms, a cosy sitting room and a well equipped perfectly thought out kitchen. We received a warm welcome from our hosts with a few well chosen provisions including delicious bread. We had a great meal in the Blue Bell Inn - simple but delicious home cooked food. Lovely to be able to walk across the meadows into Cambridge and very nice local bakery and cafe in nearby Newnham. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Angela and Toby.
Fantastic flat which was perfect for our stay with our newborn. The interior is immaculate, and the location in Grantchester is ideal for a lovely stroll into Cambridge and the surrounding area. We couldn’t recommend it more and hope to return in the future.

The river Cam flows through the iconic meadows from Cambridge, and visitors enjoy the the 4 pubs, tea rooms and gin distillery. The Blue Ball has views over the meadow to the roofs of the Cambridge colleges ,a sunny beer garden, log fires in the winter and a warm welcome from your hosts-Angela and Toby. The pub offers award winning ales from local brewers, a fabulous wine list and hearty home cooked food.
The no 18 Cambridge bus stops right outside the pub, a 15 minute cab ride from the railway station, a few minutes from junction 12 of the M11 and a wonderful 30 minute walk across the meadows into Cambridge
