Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cozy two bedroom, two bath home on 5 peaceful acres in Fraile with stunning views of the Caribbean and St. Thomas, USVI. Casa Tamarindo is located a comfortable distance off Highway 250 and just a short 5 minute drive to Zoni Beach offering easy access to a quiet beach, and a short drive to all that the center of town has to offer. The two bedrooms are separated by the common living space offering privacy if two couples care to share a vacation in paradise. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and on-suite bathroom. It opens onto the deck with a private sitting area. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a bathroom just outside the door. It also has sliding glass doors to the patio with a private sitting area. The second bedroom includes a futon making it a great bunk room for kids. Both bedrooms offer a sweeping view to the sea and St. Thomas, as well as calming views to the verdant hills and valleys surrounding the property. Enjoy an intimate dinner prepared in your fully equipped kitchen at the indoor dining area or outside on the spacious deck with a table that easily seats 6. Vaulted ceilings and fans in every room, combined with the cooling trade winds, make the entire house comfortable both during the day and for sleeping at night.

Luis was very friendly and responsive. He provided local recommendations and was very attentive throughout our stay. His home is well take care of and it is obvious it is more than just a rental for him. The only thing that would have made our time a little bit easier would have been a washer and dryer but we stayed almost a whole week. Culebra was a special place and this Airbnb was a great pick for our vacation. Would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity to return.
The house was lovely and the many places to sit on the porches allowed us to find a shady spot any time of the day. And the location on top of a hill almost always guaranteed a beautiful breeze. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and Luis was a fantastic, responsive host.
Be sure to read all the reviews. Like mine, they are all 5 stars and I echo every one. “Luis was very helpful and very responsive…The place is very quiet, safe, secluded, and well stocked with stunning views of the sunrise over St Thomas…etc.” We did have to leave every day to go swimming at six of the many idyllic beaches on Culebra. A lot of thought went into the design of the house and landscaping and the homey, intelligent, decor (love the art). A dream house.

Such a stunning place! From the various seating areas on porches and decks to the well stocked kitchen, we found everything we needed and then some in this gorgeous, secluded spot with dreamy views. The beds were comfortable and well appointed, and all of the living spaces were cozy and welcoming. The little guesthouse was also a delight for us as parents traveling with older children. We would definitely recommend and hope to return!
