We highly recommend this cabin! Great central location. The space was very clean and beautifully furnished. The outdoor area was a great respite after a long day of hiking! We would definitely come back again!!
We spent four nights at Sego Lily and we really enjoyed it. The place is super comfortable. We spent most of our time out on the back deck ... great views (by day and by starry night) and the hot tub was a big plus. The gas firepit was out of action when we were there but Alex and Vanessa have ordered the parts needed to fix it. The other firepit (wood) worked great and it was easy to get wood from the gas station in Mt Carmel. But the big attraction of Sego Lily is the location for the hikes we wanted to do ... easy to get to Zion (30 mins), a little further to Bryce (60 mins), and about the same (65 mins) to get to the truly amazing slot canyon at Wire Pass/Buckskin Gulch. We were there in April and it wasn't super busy, though our strategy was always to hang out at the house through the morning (very enjoyable and relaxing) and head off to hike at noon, then come back at sunset. No lines, easy parking. We highly recommend Sego Lily ... hope we can come back one day!
Beautifully curated space that made us feel right at home. We loved hanging out in the backyard stargazing in the hot tub. The kitchen had extras that allowed us to comfortably cook our meals. The hosts had a ton of recommendations for hikes and activities. We would stay here again!
This place is amazing! We chose this place mainly for it's location. We did a lot of hiking in Zion and some in Bryce. We wanted a place that was central to both those National Parks. We were a 20 minute drive from the east entrance of Zion and an hour drive from Bryce. Entering Zion from the East was a huge advantage as we didn't have to deal with the lines and crowds at the Springdale entrance. We are early risers so we were usually at the park entrances by 8 AM or earlier and never had to wait to get in! Having a beautiful and peaceful home to return to after hiking all day made our experience that much better! We hit the spa every evening after our hikes and took in the amazing view of Orderville. We also loved the kitchen since we are meal prep'rs and were able to get all our lunches and dinners meal prep'd for the week with the kitchen accessories provided in the home. The king bed was also super comfy! This was the perfect place for our Zion/Bryce trip! Thank you Alex & Vanessa!
Everything was perfect at Sego Lily! Alex & Vanessa have thought of everything you need to make your stay comfortable. After booking they sent an online guide for everything you need to know on things to do as well as things about the house. This was exactly the right place for our family of 4 to explore the area as well as relax. Thank you so much for the great stay!

Vanessa’s family built their vacation cabin on the borderline of Zion National Park in the mid-1970’s. As a child, she spent many summers hiking, exploring & enjoying the magical land of Zion. The area created special memories with family and friends; holding a special place in her heart. When Vanessa started a family of her own it was no surprise she brought them to the area; sharing the magic of her childhood with her own family. Hiking familiar trails and discovering new secrets, it became harder and harder to leave. Soon she and her husband, Alex, realized each visit was never long enough. In 2020 it was time to make Zion their home. Their love & knowledge of the area ensures their guests experience the magic of the Zion area just like a local. No matter how long or short the stay; everyone is guaranteed a unique experience. Breathtaking vistas, towering cliffs cast in rainbow patterns, sand in your shoes, canyons that wind on in maze-like patterns… it’s all here. Waiting to become unforgettable memories.
