While the property is located in a quiet part of its street, it is situated in the heart of the holiday and entertainment area of Bugibba. You can cross the road to your left and walk about 200m (600 ft) down the street to access the Bugibba Waterfront, with a rocky beach and a swimming area.
The Bugibba Jetty also is a few steps from the apartment. If you’d like to book diving tours or excursions to locations like Gozo and Blue Lagoon, you can do so here. One of the best things you can do in Malta is explore the island by boat!
Following the St.Paul’s Bay promenade, you can find authentic local cafes and restaurants, as well as local artisan and souvenir shops. Along the promenade, there’s also an abundance of rocky beaches and lidos.
If you turn right from the property instead, after walking down the street for about 5 minutes you’ll find yourself at Bugibba Square, a central place for dining and entertainment. There are a variety of dining options, from McDonald's and Zofra Kebab (a really good kebab spot) to gourmet restaurants such as Venus Seafood (personally recommended). Chocolate Factory Malta, Sottorezo Gelato Factory, and Bugibba Central Café are perfect places to take a coffee and spoil yourself with refreshing drinks and sweet treats – Italian gelato is a must-try! Several bars and nightclubs are also located near Bugibba Square.
Whatever your plan to do, there is no need to go far from the property.
Super Store supermarket is just across the road, and small grocery, fruit and vegetable, holiday supply, and clothes shops are situated 50-100 meters from the apartment. The Spar supermarket is 250 meters away, but still easily walkable. There’s also a professional massage therapist, SiSi massage parlor, located next door to the apartment. Other locations within a 5-10 minute walking distance include Piazza Medics clinic, BOV bank branch, Epic mobile salon, diving schools, car rentals, and excursion booking offices.

Popular rocky and sandy beaches are located within walking distance of the DoMiSol suites. Bugibba Perched Beach, for example, is only a 10 minute walk away. Your children may be excited to visit Bugibba Water Park, located on the shore near Bugibba Square.
Also you can’t miss visiting the Malta National Aquarium, it’s quite close and an absolute must see. You can get there walking along the promenade or going just 3 stops on bus 221.
Café del Mar near the Malta National Aquarium is one of the highly popular locations. You can spend the whole day near the azure pool, sunbathing and relaxing. We recommend booking in advance during the summer holidays.
There are several bus stops near the apartment so you can easily get anywhere on the island. You can also easily hire electric scooters using Whizascoot or Bolt applications to discover more places during your stay.
If you want to see what else Malta has to offer, you can take bus 212 or 222 towards Sliema and get off at Spinola or one of the earlier stops, to end up in St. Julians. St. Julians is one of the most well-known touristic locations in Malta, with an abundance of places to eat and activities to try. You can be sure that you’ll find something to do here! If you fancy a night out, then head into Paceville, right in the center of town, for an unforgettable nightlife experience.
Another popular location is Ghadira Bay - a huge sandy beach with a very shallow shoreline that gradually gets deeper. It is especially great for children, which makes it perfect for a family beach day! You can get there in about half an hour by catching either the 42, X1, or 222 towards Cirkewwa. If you’re looking for more locations to visit, here’s a quick list: Mdina (L-Imdina, a historical city rich with culture and architecture, and beautiful glassworks), Valetta( capital of Malta), Comino (the island in between Malta and Gozo, with stunning lagoons and lots of locations for hiking), Golden Bay, Salina Park, The Dingli cliffs, and many more!
Street parking in Malta is free of charge but the number of places is limited, especially in summer.
