Malvern House is beautifully decorated and the perfect location for my sister’s hen do. The open plan kitchen/dining room was perfect for hosting a three course meal and the cupboards were full of tableware, glasses and kitchen appliances. The five bedrooms were all en suite, spacious and spotlessly clean. The showers did run hot, with no way of changing the temperature, but were bearable. My only criticism would be the severe lack of communication. Libby was unreachable and the telephone number provided didn’t ring. The only way I was able to gain assess to the property was by asking AirB&B Support to intervene. This was because it had gotten to 11am on the day of arrival with pretty much no correspondence. I also contacted Libby again to ask if we could have a later check out time but this was also ignored. We did notice the property is up for sale, but this should not affect quality of service.

We loved this house! Very spacious and very clean. All bedrooms had a bathroom, the kitchen was well equipped, a big table for eating, a big yard, and plenty of parking for us. It is on a busy road but there is a really nice walking area next to the canal that is peaceful and beautiful very nearby. Libby and Laurence are great hosts and always quick to respond to any questions you might have. A great place to stay!

Very spacious house and a perfect place for a family get together. We had 8 adults, two children and two infants and there was lots of space for us all. Great giving area for the children to play, and adults to look on. Spacious garden too! The house is very near a busy road which disturbed the sleep of those staying in the rooms in the front of the house. If you’re a light sleeper I’d suggest taking a room at the back! It’s in a great spot to access Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks outlets and Blue Planet Aquarium which were on the top of our agenda to visit. There is a shop 3 minutes walk away which was very convenient! Plenty of parking too. My only negative is that because the house is so big it was tricky to get signal for a baby monitor- this is no fault of the owners, just something for parents to be aware of if they’re planning a stay.

An excellent beautiful property, kept really clean. Large enough for 10 people to be comfortable with space to get together. Next to a very noisy road though, if you don’t mind that I’d definitely recommend. We’d definitely stay again.

So nearly perfect. House is beautiful. We were five ladies having our annual get together. So thrilled to have a lovely room with an en suite each. But none of us could use the shower as the temperature was far too hot and no way to regulate it. Tried to contact Libby but had no response. House is a little out of the way but we found taxis were cheap enough. The house is right on the roadside and the noise and vibrations might be an issue for some. It was a shame because it was a very lovely cozy place for a break. Hope they get the plumbing sorted.
