Had a lovely family get together,16 of us plenty of room and space,well stocked kitchen with pans,crockery and cutlery. Bedrooms ideal to fit all the family and all the beds were comfortable,the 3 bedrooms downstairs in the undercroft could do with tea/coffee making facilities for that early morning cuppa. I think my only negative was the fact that we were asked to take the bins out Sunday night for the Monday morning collection...not a problem but it was a little confusing to where the bins were to be left and also previous guests had obviously not taken the bins to be emptied therefore the bins were full,not the fault of the hosts i may add, we took their rubbish to the designated point to be emptied,I think another bin is needed. The few local shops were great especially the olde sweetshop, several visits to this with the grandchildren.Plenty local pubs and some lovely walks. All in all we all had a fabulous time and everyone enjoyed it. The hamper was a lovely surprise too.

I hadn't realised how close it is to Hawes shops, cafes and restaurants, but then also so close to walks and scenic countryside. Perfect for all the family, was lovely to have some rooms slightly detached from the main house so some of us could get a lie-in away from early morning noisy kids.

Perfect location in centre of Hawes. House was great for family and having en-suites for each bedroom meant privacy for everyone. Everything we needed, great house
