Fredrik’s place was thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed to enjoy the weekend! We watched the sunset over the mountains while drinking champagne in the hottub! We saw deer and heard/saw wild turkeys gobbling. We enjoyed the fireplaces at night. The beds were super comfortable! The house was spotless! We will be back!

This place is nothing like the photos. Its better. The smell of the wood in the log cabin hits you as you enter and the rooms are way bigger than the photos let on. Including the smallest room. This place is pricy but depends on what your celebrating. If thats the case its worth the value. Will say if you dont like driving up and down mountains then maybe this isnt for you. Nature lovers and people who arent used to the quiet need to do this at least once. We celebrated our Great Grandmothers birthday here and it was special. Plenty of space to hide away from family, gather, and explore.

Rocky Ridge is a gorgeous property and exactly what my family and I needed for a Mountain get-away. The house is stunning - beautifully decorated, spacious and secluded. We loved the hot tub, theatre and gaming room. Gorgeous drive thru the mountains to get into Boone and we loved being able to access Grandfather Mountain for a wonderful hike. This place is exactly what we were looking for and Fredrik was a remarkable host. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!!

This was one of the best cabins I’ve ever stayed in! Our entire group shared the same sentiment. It looks exactly like the pictures! Everything was so well thought out and the place was fully stocked with everything you’d need to have a nice vacation in the mountains. Fredrick was super responsive. Overall great value and totally worth the price! I would stay here again and have already recommended it to other friends.
