The Lookout was an incredible place for my family and I. We loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings. Loved the terrance view of the lake. Also as a bonus we were able to see the northern lights during our stay.

Stunning new build in Nevis, MN! If you are amazed by the pictures, just wait until you see the place in person. Every room has a lake view. Just a breathtaking spot! I hosted 16 guests for my husband’s birthday over the winter. I understand that due to the time of year we were unable to use majority of the outdoor amenities. However, the lake access for ice fishing and the hot tub was perfect for our group! Plenty of towels, bedding and seating. The whole crew was comfortable and had their own bed/space. We love this place and we are already planning to come back next year! May have to splurge and check this place out in the summer! Things to keep in mind: lots of stairs and smaller kitchen for large groups. These things were minor for us, but wanted to call it out just in case! Thanks for being a great host Tammy!

The place was amazing and private. The amenities were exactly as listed and everything was in perfect condition and squeaky clean. I would 100% recommend this spot if you're going to go and have a nice and quiet place to chill with your friends. Their speaker system is out of this world so I would go again just for that.

This rental was absolutely fabulous! Three families shared for the MEA weekend and it was decided this was the best location we've rented in the 8 years we have been making the MEA trip. The windows made it feel both open to nature and very large. You could see the attention to detail throughout the property. The sonos sound system was so easy to use and perfect, the teenagers had music in the lower level while the adults had something different upstairs. We didn't need them but the separate temp controls are a big plus. The kitchen was well stocked. The amenities outside the home were great and would be phenomenal during the summer months. Basically, I could go on for paragraphs on everything we loved. Note if you plan on renting, if you are an early to bed, early to rise kind of person, take the basement bedroom. It seems to get less house and traffic noise but it gets the most kitchen noise (aka the people who make the coffee will wake the people below).

The Lookout was as advertised. The house was right on the lake with a dock accessible by boat. There 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards for use. The views were excellent from the decks of the house. We had 6 adults and 5 kids and we all had fun. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with a group of 6 or more. The place has 3 king bed suites with an additional queen bed room and 3 built in single beds as the pictures show. We did not use the pull out couches. The couch on the main floor was huge. It could easily seat 12 people for visiting or just hanging out. Beautiful place with upscale furniture
