Relax in a private, top floor guest suite in the charming neighborhood of Carroll Gardens. You'll love the natural light and view over the treetops of our picturesque street. This is the perfect home base to explore Brooklyn and beyond. You will be steps from Court Street with many awesome shops, restaurants, and bars. We are 15 minutes by Subway from Manhattan, and a 15 minute walk to several lovely parks. We can comfortably accommodate two adults and two children under NYC regulations. The guest suite features a sunlit, south facing bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed. There is ample closet space and a corner workspace and desk chair for remote workers. In the living room, the sofa pulls out into a full-size that comfortably sleeps two adults. There is a TV with all cable channels and several streaming services. The dining table has with plenty of space to enjoy a great home-cooked (or delivered!) meal. The well-equipped kitchen is for your private use only. There is a refrigerator, brand new stove, and a toaster oven. For coffee drinkers, we offer a drip coffee machine (American style), as well as a mocha pot. The kitchen is stocked with all cooking basics. The apartment can comfortably accommodate 4 guests (2 adults / 2 children - though we can only advertise as 2 person listing due to NYC regulations. If you have a family of 4 please reach out and I'll see if we can accommodate you). It is perfect for visiting families, remote workers, or grandparents visiting their grandchildren. Here are some additional details about the apartment: -- The guest suite is the top floor of a duplex unit, two flights up from the street (one flight of exterior stairs and one interior). -- The F/G subway trains serve the neighborhood. The nearest stops are: Smith-9th Street Station which is a .3 mile walk (6 minutes), and Carroll Street Station which is a .4 mile walk (9 minutes) -- Street parking is free, but you will have to move your car once per week to accommodate street cleaning. -- The guest suite is pet-friendly - we love animals!
