Enjoy your time in the Munich/Bavaria area in this beautiful, private apartment in Schäftlarn within walking distance to train S7 to Munich and with free parking The private apartment is fully equipped to suit individuals, couples or families staying in the area on holiday, for sport, for visiting friends, en route to another location or as a short-term work space. It is attached to the hosts’s home but fully separate. Guests have their own entrance and key, and there is parking for one car Beautifully furnished 1 bed apartment (52m2) with own entrance and hallway. The private apartment is accessed via stairs to the side of the host‘s house. The apartment is on the lower ground floor but has lots of light with 4 windows (kitchen, living room x 2, bathroom) HALLWAY Private hallway leading from outside front door to door of apartment. Hooks on wall in corridor outside your apartment door front to hang coats. Shoe rack Possible to store your luggage or bikes in this hallway as it is private to you. LIVING ROOM / DINING ROOM A large and comfortable couch which converts to a sofa bed (130 x 200cm). Bedding for sofa bed provided upon request TV attached to wall Rustic dining table with 4 chairs Antique Bavarian farmhouse wardrobe Option for child‘s Tripp Trap Highchair upon request. KITCHEN A fully equipped kitchenette with oven, hob and fridge (with small freezer section). A range of kitchen utensils and basic cooking ingredients provided. Coffee machine. Kettle. Toaster. Blender. Any special additional requirements can be sourced when requested at booking. BEDROOM A large comfortable double bed. Bedside tables each with a bedside lamp. Chest of drawers. Bookshelf filled with books. The bedroom is separated from the living area by an arch and a curtain BATHROOM Shower Toilet Sink Bathroom cabinet with hairdryer.

This is a lovely, bright, clean, and well-equipped apartment, and it’s nice to have your own access down the stairs to the right of the house. I also appreciated being able to safely store my luggage in the private hallway which belongs to the apartment. The double bedroom, set aside from the main living area by a privacy curtain, was very comfortable, and just what I needed. I was able to do a day’s home office working in the apartment with ease. Anna our host was great too - when I had questions about the area, Anna was really helpful, with lots of helpful information and local tips. Thanks for a lovely accommodating stay - I will be back!

Anna‘s place was super clean, perfectly located and quiet. The separate entrance and the parking are a big plus. The location, with access to the nature and the S-Bahn right there, makes it easy to get around. The Appartement is spaces and has everything you would need for your independent stay. A big surprise was the few welcomed items in the fridge (especially when arriving on Sunday) and we felt very well taken care of at Anna’s place. Check in and out was easy and flexible. We would recommend her place for anyone! We will come back when planing for this area again. Thank you!!!! 🙏🏻

Schäftlarn is a delightful Bavarian village in the outskirts of Munich.
Access to Munich is very easy - the local S-Bahn train (S7) takes 27 mins to central Munich Marienplatz/Main train station. If coming by car, Schäftlarn is just off the A95 highway from Munich to the mountains (45 mins to Garmisch to ski)
Schäftlarn has all the amenities you need within walking distance - an Edeka supermarket, a Rossmann drugstore, several bakeries, 2 pharmacies, a lovely Italian restaurant, and a sports ground with tennis courts, beach volley ball and football pitches. There are lots of lovely local traditional pubs (Gasthaüser) in the area.
Schäftlarn is close to the Isar and there is a lovely walk from the property down to the river past the famous Kloster Schäftlarn.
The local Starnberg lake is 10 mins drive. Great for walks, a swim, rowing, SUP.
Daytrips to the mountains to ski from the property are easy to do e.g. Garmisch, Ehrwald,
The property has a parking spot on the driveway outside.
The property is walking distance (400m) to the local S7 train (Ebenhausen-Schäftlarn) with direct regular trains to Munich centre Marienplatz/Main Train station.
There is a local bus 904 to Starnberg.
There are so many lovely places to walk to - woods, fields, the river Isar
