What a hidden gem! This is a lovely property in the heart of Buckfastleigh, beautifully decorated and well equipped. We hope to return next time we are visiting relatives in the area
Fabulous well appointed cottage, with everything you need for a stay. A home from home. Bed comfy, lovely and clean. Will be hopefully returning.
First time staying at Emma's cottage and was blown away by the interior decor, the cleanliness and the home comforts it boasted. The interior looks like a Next catalogue. All high quality and beautifully presented. Everything you could possibly need has been thought of and provided.
What a beautiful place! Easy to find in a quiet little road tucked away just behind the small Buckfastleigh high street, there is a lovely local organic food shop and several cafes and pubs, a fish and chip shop and a chemist. The town has kept a real feel of an older Dartmoor heritage and the location was perfect to explore some of the most beautiful and wild landscapes in the UK, it felt like a gateway the Dart Valley and the South Moors. We where so impressed by the cottage, immaculately and very tastefully decorated. We could feel so much love and attention had been put into the cottage and making our stay as enjoyable as possible. We had mince pies and a Dartmoor beer amongst other treats to welcome us, and a ready laid fire with plenty of good wood. Could have just stayed in for the three days and rested and relaxed within the cosy thick stone walls. Everything was modern yet welcoming and in keeping with the cottage, and the kitchen was better equipped than ours at home!
