On arrival the space was not clean. All dishes that were available for use had caked on grime and left over food. It was very difficult to get any warm running water even after continuously turning the water heater back on. Cold showers for 2 weeks was not ideal. However, Alfred was an amazing host and did provide cleaning supplies for us to be able to clean what was needed. He also checked in to see how things were going and to check if we needed anything. The basement area was very nice and peaceful to be able to sit near the electric fireplace. It is in need of repair and should also have things installed that were left undone like giant painting sitting in the stairway. For what my husband and I paid for, there definitely should be working hot water and a clean arrival. Hopefully the nexts guests are able to get the description of what was listed on AirBnb.

Alfred was a great host! A lot of great food options near by as well and it’s right off the highway. Alfred provided exceptional service!

The place looks just like the photos. It was very comfortable. Very clean. Lots of little extras, coffee tea salt pepper seasonings and bathroom toiletries. It’s nice and plush.
