Nice Place to stay in Wanaka. It will be great if the bedrooms and living area are connected and there are small windows in the bedrooms. The View outside is good. We arrived at night and it was dark. We didn't notice how good the outside is until morning.
We enjoyed our stay, but a bit disappointed that the oven was not functioning upon arrival. Host offered use of their oven, but arrived late and didn’t want to disturb. Would have been nice to be notified ahead of arrival as we purchased items for a late dinner. Regardless, we had a nice stay otherwise
Perfect place for what we needed for a short stay! Rooms nice and warm for what was a cold evening when we arrived! Oven was broken but we made do with the hob
large kitchen with full kitenware for cook. bedrooms and the kiten are not connected together.

Being in a semi-rural location we are blessed with minimal light pollution and established trees, which means an abundance of bird life. We have direct access to the Cardrona River for a wonderful peaceful walk and are only 4kms to central Wanaka, an easy escape from the hustle and bustle by car, bicycle or taxi.
The South Island is best explored by car or bicycle, we do have a couple of great local taxi firms.
