Julia's place was absolutely lovely. I would 100% definitively stay there again if I'm in Berlin again. The place was clean, sunny and spacious. A great place to come to rest if you're traveling. The only thing that could have been helpful is a how-to of some sorts for the lights and the audio system. The house is very much automatic and by use of Siri. For example, you have to ask Siri to close and open the curtains. That was no trouble, however. The lights in the home remain a mystery to me. They were clearly preset by a system, but the light in the bathroom would go on and off by itself while I was under the shower. I had some trouble understanding this. I would leave, having turned all the lights off, and when I came back the light in the bathroom would be on! Not a huge deal, but just would've been nice to understand and control this. I had a lovely time in the home, it's a fantastic spot and if you can, you should definitely stay there.

Julia is the reason Airbnb continues to disrupt the hotel industry. She went above and beyond and was an amazing host throughout our stay. My colleague left his suit jacket in the apartment and Julia quickly mailed it to another country for us with no questions asked, amazing! She was very responsive and friendly through the stay and was very flexible with the checkout time which was much appreciated. The apartment was perfect. Great views of the neighborhood, quiet, big, clean, comfortable sleeping arrangements, perfect location for getting to sightseeing or just enjoying the neighborhood which had great coffee shops, traditional German restaurants and some amazing Turkish kebabs! This has to be one of the best apartments for the money in Berlin. Not to mention Julia is the best host I’ve ever met. Don’t sleep on this gem.
