Zostel is situated in lush green forest property far far away from city life. Place is peaceful and serene. In house restaurant serves delicious food. You can stroll in the property. One can hear chirping of birds and can walk amidst nature. Rooms are spacious and clean. Overall it was the best experience.

A land of refreshing waterfalls, mystical mountain tops, sprawling green landscapes, and a variety of flora and fauna that lives within it, Coorg is the textbook definition of a hill station. And like that’s not enough, Coorg happens to be home to coffee plantations, so you can only imagine the aroma of this place and the soothing effects it has!

From Madikeri:
Take a bus to Chettli or Siddapura (drop off at Kadagadal bus stop, 2 km before Zostel Coorg (Madikeri). Alternately, a cab costs ~INR 350-450.
By Car:
Take the road towards Madikeri, and 12 km before Mysore, take a right towards Honsur Road. Once you reach Kushalnagar, cross Sundikuppa and drive for 7 km. Then take a left towards Sandalwood Estate Road. After 4-5 km, take a left from the dead-end. Finally, you will reach the Kadagadal bus stop (landmark - school).
From Kannur Airport: 95 km, 2.5 hrs, ~INR 3500-4500 for a taxi to Madikeri.
From Mangalore Airport: 145 km, 3.5 hrs, ~INR 3500 for a taxi to Zostel Coorg (Madikeri).
From Bangalore Airport: 300 km, 6 hrs, ~INR 5000-6000 for a taxi to Zostel Coorg (Madikeri).
From Kannur/Tellicherry/Mysore railway stations:
These stations are 120-130 km away. Take a bus to Madikeri and reach the Kadagadal bus stop as guided above.
