Our tiny home is perfect for a young couple or a small family. Nestled against the woods, it is a large site in our family-oriented campground. There is a wraparound porch and an outdoor area with a fire pit and picnic table. There is a comfortable living area with a futon and chair and a 32” smart TV. Our small but pleasant eating space in our efficient kitchen seats three. There is a Cuisinart Cast-iron double burner, convection oven, toaster and microwave as well as a coffee maker. There is also an apartment sized refrigerator. The bedroom loft, accessible by wooden ladder, provides a full-size mattress and the living room futon opens up to a comfortable queen sized bed. Linens are provided. The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and shelf storage. There is a curtain separating the bathroom from the living area. On the porch there is a high top table for two and a couple of outdoor chairs. The campground in which the tiny home is located provides 40 acres of both landscaped and wooded areas. There is a commercial laundry on site as well as extra bathrooms and showers. We also have a year-round variety store that sells many household and personal items as well as food and groceries. We have a large selection of beers and wine and a comfortable dining area where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a patio with a gas fire pit for outdoor dining. In the summer months, we have a solar heated pool that overlooks the Androscoggin River valley as well as the Western Mountain foothills. There are two covered pavilions for gatherings of large groups and a recreation hall.

My daughter had stayed here previously and recommended it to us. It was a wonderful as she described it. The surrounding area is beautiful. We went in November so the weather was pretty chilly, but the cabin was very cosy to come home to. We hope we will be back there to experience more seasons.
This tiny home was PERFECT! Warm, comfortable, well furnished; everything I could have asked for. We used this little cabin as our home base while hiking the white mountains. The two of us and our dog had space for our items and still had tons of room to enjoy the cabin. The bathroom was even surprisingly spiffy! A nice warm shower in a nice clean bathroom was appreciated after some hard hikes. The camp store was SO useful and allowed us to buy wood and supplies for a wonderful fire. There is even a rec room on the campgrounds which is a goldmine for families that happen to camp on a rainy day. I will 100% be staying here again when I find myself up that direction again. If you a debating between this place and a hotel, rent this place!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mikes Tiny House in Maine. It matched the description to the T and we were extremely happy with the cleanliness, the layout and the beautiful surroundings. Mike was responsive, made himself available to us and even popped by when we arrived to introduce himself which truly made us feel at home. We would highly recommend this to anyone in the Hanover, Maine area.
It was a beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful and quiet. Their food at the restaurant was very good
We loved every moment of our stay at Pineview tiny house! Its location within a campground was a plus. It brought back wonderful memories of tent camping while our kids were growing up. All of the campground amenities were freely available to us with our Pineview rental. It was a little too cool to swim, but we enjoyed the walkability of the campground roads and the miniature golf not far from our cabin. There is a lovely cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating, but we went out to dinner so will have to try the cafe next time. Although located within a campground, Pineview is set off by itself and feels very private. Mike was responsive and friendly -- in fact, all of the campground staff we interacted with were the same. Very helpful. The porch may have been our favorite feature of the cabin. We loved spending time sitting out there! Everything we could possibly need was provided in the cabin. We will definitely be back to stay at Pineview again. Highly recommend!!

We are located in the beautiful western mountain foothills of Maine which provides numerous family friendly recreation opportunities year round. The winter months offer both downhill and cross country skiing, as well as snow shoeing, dog sledding, snow sledding and snowmobiling. Hiking trails abound in the area for spring, summer and fall hiking from novice to advanced hikers. There is also canoeing and kayaking in the numerous area lakes and rivers as well as swimming in local ponds, lakes and rivers.
There are several golf courses in the area including the Bethel Inn and Sunday River Resorts, both within a 10 minute drive. The Oakdale Country Club in Mexico ME and the Paris Hill Country Club in Paris, Maine are very affordable Par 3 golf courses less than 30 minutes away.
Maine has an excellent reputation among "rockhounds" for the variety and quality of mineral specimens found within its borders. Many of the best minerals in Maine are found in western Maine and include beryl, topaz, and colored tourmaline; they may also contain very rare species or large crystals of various minerals. Rockhounding can provide hours of fun for the whole family.
Bethel, just six miles from Stony Brook, offers boutique shopping, the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum, the Bethel Historical Society, festivals and craft fairs, and restaurants to please everyone's palate.
We are in a very rural area and a car is needed. We have onsite parking for at least 2 cars.

Hi! I am Mike and I have just purchased StonyBrook, the campground where this Airbnb is located. The Appalachian Trail, which I hiked from Georgia to Maine in 2018, gave me a perspective on what I would like to provide guests who want to camp, hike and ski in the area. I have spent my entire life in Maine and have extensive experience in retail, construction and business and am looking forward to putting it all to good use here.
