This was a beautiful historic period homestead which has made the best part of our Rugby journey in France. It was divine coming back to a swimming pool and beautiful organic wine (produced on site), after a hot day discovering Bordeaux. If you’re visiting in the summer, make sure to pack insect repellent. Moving around is easy - it’s a short stroll to the local town for supplies or eating out. Very quiet and quaint, we loved it. The bus stops right outside the property & gets you into Bordeaux - with bus fares only 2 euros or so, it was very affordable to move around from the estate. The romantic setting created waves of nostalgia for some of us who were so comfortable in this spacious home. The highlight of our trip was definitely our Hosts Maria and Thomas! So considerate, generous, and fabulous. Make sure to do the winery tour with them, it was very personable and we also learned lots about the area. The best value for money of all our stays in France. We will be back!

On a passé une semaine merveilleuse sur cette propriété spéciale de Thomas & Maria. On a loué la maison principale (château ancien) avec vu sur grand jardin et vignoble. La piscine est grande et donne une vu impressionnante / paronymique sur les vignes. Pour nos enfants les chats et les deux chiens étaient une vraie joie. Le village avec boulangerie et supermarché est à qq minutes à pied. La cuisine et grande, lumineuse et spacieuse. On recommande à 100%.

Très beau domaine avec une magnifique piscine sécurisée (couverture). Vue très agréable sur les vignes, au calme loin des routes passantes, mais à quelques minutes à pied d'un petit village (supérette, pharmacie, boulangerie et restaurant-pizzeria). Livres et jeux pour enfants sur place. Trampoline et balançoire. Hôtes charmants, qui nous ont offert quelques (délicieuses) bouteilles de bienvenue. Petit bémol : au vue du prix de la maison, nous nous attendions à plus de confort (mobilier extérieur vétuste et insuffisant, literie ancienne, ballon d'eau chaude insuffisant, mauvaise isolation phonique, 1 seul trousseau de clés pour 5 chambres). A 15 minutes de St Emilion et de Libourne. Idéal pour un séjour oenologique. Thomas et Maria proposent d'ailleurs des visites de leur vignoble BIO ! Achat possible sur place.

We enjoyed a fantastic family vacation in Chateau Le Noble. We loved the garden, the view over the vineyard, the pool and the terras near the pool for memorable moments with the family. The location is perfect for trips in the neighborhood with the car or bicycle. The house has great charm and has been renovated to accommodate a large family, with ample bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and all comfort is available. No airco though but the thick walls and shutters for the windows allow to keep the temperature inside comfortable even through the hot days. The two nice dogs on the premise are extremely gentle. The hosts are excellent and very responsive and helpful. We took the tour on the estate and enjoyed Maria’s explanation on the history and the present operations of the chateau and especially the passion they have for their wines.
