One of the highlights of our space is undoubtedly the LARGE PRIVATE 360° PANORAMIC ROOFTOP TERRACE, where you can bask in the sun, have a glass of Tuscan wine, feel the refreshing mountain breeze, relish the enchanting views of the Medieval Tuscan roofing architecture, and hear the captivating sound of the Basilica Cathedrale Campanile bell tower. This terrace is a perfect spot for socializing, enjoyment, and relaxation. The open-concept floorplan flows from the NEWLY REMODELED FULLY-EQUIPPED KITCHEN to the BEAUTIFUL LARGE DINING TABLE, and to the comfortable SOFAS SITTING AREA AT THE FIRST LIVING ROOM while indulging from the historical structure views reflected through the large windows around. In addition, our charming home features TWO (2) TASTEFULLY DECORATED QUEEN-SIZE BEDROOM. it also includes SECOND LIVING ROOM WITH TWO (2) FULL-SIZE SOFA BEDS, easily converted to a comfortable THIRD BEDROOM. My family of five (adults and teens) had a wonderful few days here. It is a perfect location in smaller hill-town with great history. We really enjoyed the terrace and can see how perfect it would be in warmer weather (we came in April). The hosts were very responsive when we had questions and when we needed extra towels, etc. Perfect stay in Tuscany for us!
Fantastic location. Once the tourist leave, it feals the town is yours - we came in April. The upper patio was great. You can see and hear the bell towers. You can hear banter and gardening from the locals below.
La casa si trova in una posizione perfetta nel centro di Volterra, tutti i musei e le attrazioni sono raggiungibili a piedi in pochi minuti. Peccato solo per le campane situate davanti alla camera da letto che iniziano a suonare presto alla mattina. Gli interni sono curati e moderni, l’appartamento è fornito di ogni comodità ed accessorio per cucinare. I due bagni sono completi e funzionali e soprattutto puliti. Il vero punto di forza però è la terrazza sui tetti della città sulla quale è fantastico pranzare al sole.
We just loved staying at this spacious and beautiful apartment in Volterra. It is conveniently situated in the centre of the town, just off Piazza dei Priori. The kitchen was equipped sufficiently to cook delicious food with all the fresh ingredients we bought from local shops. Our hosts supplied a lot of information and answered all our questions. We loved the terrace, but could not really use it because of bad (cold and wet) weather. Maybe next time. I can recommend this apartment.
Spacious, clean, and well-renovated home right in the center of beautiful Volterra! Amazing hosts—very responsive to any questions we had, and helpful recommendations for parking, etc. The location is perfect for experiencing the peacefulness of Volterra yet also walkable to so many amenities such as cafes, restaurants, historical sites, churches, etc. The home had plenty of room for our group of 5, and the private, well-equipped balcony/terrace on the roof is truly the highlight of this home. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to experience Volterra as it is meant to be experienced.
