Following on from my first review, my time here was an enjoyable experience based on the unique design of the house, which is not in keeping with the rest of the neighbourhood. It really is quite distinct, and well worth the fee. The upstairs area (bedroom and quiet room) is quite wonderful, as you have a nice view of the skyline and exceptional nights where the moon is framed by the window overlooking the garden. I got quite a lot of work done while I was there, and quite enjoyed sitting next to the empty swimming pool shaded by hanging trees or playing with the young friendly puppies who patrolled the garden or path down to the entrance. Every morning was glorious even when it rained, and the sense that this house offers so much to its guests, an eccentric wonder eager for you to visit, to live and to love Bellevue.

What a wonderfully unique, vibrant and stylish home, far beyond my initial expectations. Bellevue is the place to be in Jo’burg simply because there is no place like it. The amount of sun the house receives from dawn til dusk, the wonderful plants and trees attracting bird life, the art deco style. As an artist myself, one can feel inspiration and imagination in every little corner; truly amazing stay, warm and welcoming. The kitchen is fantastic, powerful shower, and good Wi-Fi, too. The quiet room/office/meditation/yoga is wonderful as outside noise cannot penetrate the peaceful vibes and Victoria Yard’s is no more than 2/3 minutes away from the place, a great way to satisfy your artistic designs, handicrafts and fashion needs.

Dee place was great and well clean room, nice bedding, private space, lovey son and will definitely book back when I am in Joburg. Art work beautiful

This place was more than we had expected, from the great views and artistic designs to the freedom of the space. DeLovie was an amazing host, always accomodating and responsive. The stay was overall a really wonderful experience and we would love to visit again
