Fantastic deal. The house is really nice , all the linen was high quality and beds very comfy ! It actually is much nicer than the photos show, it’s a good space for 7-8 people and plenty of dining space . Kitchen well equipped for cooking for a larger group. Location is lovely and remote - beautiful! Very responsive host !

Cathy and Dave’s property was amazing. We stayed there for New Year’s with 3 kids and we had a really good time. The property was very neat and clean. The pictures don’t do justice. It had a beautiful fireplace, they provided us with the log and the lighters. The place was very cozy and the heating was turned on at the right time. Cathy helped us with getting our grocery order and went out of her way to keep it inside the fridge and cupboard for us. The kids got to feed the chickens and they were very happy. The house is well equipped with all the amenities. It’s not far from the Four waterfalls and the view from the rooms is beautiful. They have a great collection of books, so if you want to have a nice cozy time reading you would enjoy that as well. All in all we would love to come back and stay at their place again. Thanks Cathy and Dave xx lots of love from all of us.

Really wonderful place to stay. Felt like a home from home right from the start. Cathy and David were very welcoming, helpful, and really lovely. The cottage is very clean, thoughtfully decorated, well equipped and really cosy. It’s an incredibly restful and easy place to stay, with good walking, and wild swimming, hiking, lovely pubs and supermarkets within a half hour drive. Highly recommend.

The most amazing hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. Extremely kind and helpful as well as being knowledgable about the area and seemed genuinely excited to share their passion for the nature and locale. They recommended wonderful walks and places to eat and helped us out immediately when we had any problems. They also have a really cute and friendly dog. Only thing to bear in mind is that the house is fairly far away from nearest supermarkets and towns. Route planners say it’s 20 minutes but it’s longer if you drive under the speed limit which you will probably want to do on unfamiliar country roads. The flip side of this is the house is beautifully remote and quiet. So if you want a very restive and peaceful holiday (which you probably do if you are visiting this area) it’s perfect for that! Just know that a going to the shops is probably an hours round trip. One word in summary: FANTASTIC! 🤩
