Built on the edge of the village in 2012 next to the gorge, entire two-story stone building is given, warm, traditional house, in the absolute silence of the mountain, bathed in the light and aromas of the plants and herbs of the Vikos canyon. At the entrance of the house there is a balcony and a large paved yard where you can sit and enjoy its unique view. In the threshing floor in the back yard of the house, you can hear the echo of your voice from the Gorge with a view of Monodendri village. The house is located in Ano Vitsa, at the highest point of the village (1050 m altitude), with an unlimited view of the square of Vitsa and the mountain peaks of Zagori. It is a two-storey stone house with main entrance on the upper floor in a single living room with fireplace, kitchen and wc. On the ground floor with an internal staircase there are 2 bedrooms, each with an independent entrance, with the bathroom. It is ideal for accommodating 4 to 6 people, with a maximum of 10. From the main road of the village there is a narrow cobbled 200 m. (accessible by almost all types of vehicles, with careful driving), which leads to the entrance of the house and the double covered parking. There is access on foot and from the upper main road of the village (50 m.).

In Vitsa within a few minutes walk there are 5 of the best taverns of Zagorochoria with excellent traditional food, wine and tsipouro for all tastes (sta Riza, Struga, Kanela & Garifallo, stou Karagiorgou and Kores).
On the way to the village square there is a traditional kafenio for tsipouro and snacks.
Next to Monodendri (just 1.5 km), you can find "Aelia" with traditional handmade sweets, coffee and tsipouro. There is also the "Thirsty Bear" coffee-bar with very good music.
From the square of the village there is the entrance of Skala Vitsa, one of the most beautiful and gentle hiking routes in the Canyon, next to the Vikos river that crosses the gorge, passes the double-arched bridge of Misios and ends at the bridge of Kokkori.
You must definitely visit in Monodendri the Monastery of Ag. Paraskevis, which you find on the side of the canyon of Vikos. If you don't have height phobia issues it is very nice to walk the path after the monastery on the side of the canyon.
By car you can be in 20 minutes at the impressive single-arch bridge of Kokkori or in 15 minutes at the highest balcony with the incredible view of the Vikos canyon, the "Oxia" and the "Stone Forest".
The 200 m stone cobbled road from the main road (it is narrow but accessible by almost all types of vehicles, with careful driving), ends next to the entrance of the house where 2 stone-built covered parking spaces with arches are available for residents.
There is access on foot to the house (50 m.) and from the upper main road of the village.
