This was a great stay for me. A little outside of the center but for me easily walkable and most of all quiet and calm. The women who run the hotel are really sweet and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in Barichara.

I came for a couple days and stayed for a couple weeks! A lovely colonial building with a central courtyard. There is a kitchen and dining space available for guests´ use which was so convenient. The place is immaculately kept and the room presentation is lovely. The upstairs rooms are especially appealing with windows that let in the breeze and the sounds of birds. Located on the southern edge of town, it is quiet and peaceful, but just a very short walk into the center of Barichara. Most important the staff is really lovely. Friendly , helpful, and kind. Breakfast is served from 7.30 till ten and it’s quite good, and nicely presented. An excellent place !

It was my first time in Barichara and I honestly could not have been better received. Maria is a kind soul and will make sure you feel right at home, she even remembered my name ! Its about a 7 min walk to the center which I really liked. Its surrounded with trees and nature and you can hear all the birds and animals waking up in the morning, it was a really peaceful experience. The breakfast was solid, I had the omelet and they give you a bowl of papaya and other fruits as well as a freshly made juice (orange, papaya, etc), you can also ask for a coffe which was delicious. It is really a gem and I will definitely come back with my girlfriend and family! See you next year guys!
