Amazing spot, great views, the best bath. A lot of thought has clearly gone into the finishings inside the house, great attention to the small details. Very warm and access to a private beach. Not sure you will find a better spot on the Peninsula.
Such a luxurious airbnb in a beautiful part of the peninsular. There were so many well-considered details that gave everything we needed to have a relaxing and restorative weekend away. Annabel was very accomodating of check in / check out times and very responsive. Highly recommend!
The little house on Big Hill was absolutely gorgeous. Given the opportunity, we’ll be back in a heartbeat. The stunning views out to the Pacific Ocean were just incredible, and the mini trek down to their private beach was worth it just to get even closer to the view. Thanks for having us Annabel!
Absolutely stunning location & space. Everything was perfect, from the linen to the cleaning products. Every detail thought of! Feeling relaxed & rejuvenated. Will definitely be back! Big Hill is located in a unique and private location above Raupo Bay between Little Akaloa and Okains Bay. Use as a base to explore the wider Banks Peninsula and Akaroa or spend your stay soaking in the beautiful of Big Hill.
Access to Big Hill is via a graded and gravel farm track, suitable for all vehicle types. Parking is available on site with a 10 metre walk from the carparking area to the front door of the accommodation.
