We had a wonderful family break in Salisbury, everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance. The house was beautiful. Well designed for groups and very well equipped. It is obvious that Laura and her co-hosts have taken time and effort to provide a stylish comfortable and easy place stay. Would definitely book again and didn’t want to leave!

Laura’s house has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated, with everything a guest might need. The 6 of us stayed for 3 nights and there was plenty of room to eat, relax and sleep in comfort. The location is brilliant and everything is within walking distance, we didn’t use our cars at all during our visit. Communication was excellent and questions were answered immediately. We absolutely loved our stay at Laura's place in Salisbury - the perfect house for our group of 5 friends. A beautifully finished house with all the amenities we could need, and in a great location. The Beautiful Cathedral, with the tallest spire in the UK and surrounded by a beautiful green area, is a 2 minute walk from the property. All you have to do is cross the road and walk through the gate to enter the stunning Cathedral close - an ideal spot for a picnic in summer (picnic hamper and rug provided).
There are walks along the 5 rivers which flow through Salisbury easily accessible from the property. An OS map is provided to give you inspiration!
Old Sarum, an Iron Age Hill fortress, then Roman Fort, then original Cathedral is a beautiful 45 minute walk from the property.
Stonehenge is a 20 minute drive, there are regular bus trips from the station too.
All of the local restaurants are a short walk from the door. We have collaborated with local restaurants to offer you discounts for a range of cuisines - codes are shared in our digital guidebook :)
Salisbury city is small and easily accessible by foot. There are plenty of buses from the centre to nearby towns and cities. Salisbury train station is a 15 minute walk from the house and has direct links to London Waterloo, Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Southampton and Portsmouth.

We have lived in South Africa, Germany, Spain, Qatar and most recently Hong Kong for the past fourteen years. I work at the British International School and am a part-time florist. We have three lively teenage boys. We have tastefully and sensitively renovated this Victorian listed terrace townhouse, with Asian influences and, where possible, used pre-loved locally-sourced furniture to be more sustainable.
