Our quaint Lake House cottage has a private dock and beach, is close to both Barrie and Orillia, Burl's Creek, the LCBO in Hawkestone, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love our place because of the views, the comfy bed and the private lake front. This cottage is good for couples and families. For those that may have to head down to Toronto for work, it is an hour drive or single GO train ride from the station in Barrie. This cottage is an adorable cottage with a lot that is perfect for kids/dogs. The water had an easy entry and the dock was perfect for my sons fishing adventures🤗
The cottage was small but big enough for my family of 4. If there was inclement weather it might have been a bit cramped. But there wasn’t so it was OK. The place was spotless and the location was great. The entrance to the water is over rocks so water shoes became essential. Glad that I saw this in another review. We all had a great time.

Our cottage has private waterfront right on Lake Simcoe. Quiet neighborhood on side street. Within a short distance is a general store, a public beach with ice cream, Friday farmers market, LCBO and amenities in both Barrie and Orillia.
We have accommodation for up to 3 cars (4 if requested in advance) at no cost. Our cottage is a 20 minute drive to the Allendale GO Station. Biking distance to Burls Creek event park and Oro Beach.
