Hello! Our family lives on a farm just a short drive from Peoria, IL(40 minutes) and Kewanee, IL(15 minutes). We have 3 children, one dog, one cat, and way too many funny looking chickens in our special flock. The house is a large old farmhouse with your bedroom on the main floor. Come enjoy 2 secluded acres, a large summer garden, and vibrant starry night skies. Your stay includes fiber optic wifi, laundry access, and toiletries(including handmade soap made here on our farm). Your room is on the main floor, just a short walk from where you come enter the house. There is a large closet to hang your clothes in. It also has extra pillows and blankets in there if you need them. The shared bathroom with bathtub (and jets!) is right next to your room.

They were all very polite and generous. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Becky worked with me on cancelling the reservation since I had to travel for work and shorten my stay. Great place and wonderful people.
We loved Becky’s place! What made it great was Becky, her husband, and her children. They welcomed us as we drove in, and showed us to our room. It was nice getting to know them as they invited us to eat dinner with them. They had lots of good books to read too! It is a shared bathroom, but we were fine with that. The listing said a double bed, but we were pleased to see that they replaced it with a queen sized bed. Thank you Becky for your hospitality and we loved your sweet children! Becky also offered us tea, and fresh eggs from her chickens for breakfast.
Enjoyed our stay in the country. loved meeting all the family and visiting. Morning repast was good. The helping hand moving in was appreciated. Would go back again .

Have fun hiking and biking on the Rock Island Bike Trail nearby or forage for wild raspberries along the Spoon River, while keeping an eye out for bald eagles, deer, and more that make their homes in the area. Spend time observing our large garden in the summer, our eclectic brood of chickens, or stargazing outside.
Off the farm, you can take a 15 minute drive to nearby Toulon or Kewanee, 24 minutes to Jubilee State Park, or visit the city of Peoria 40 minutes away. There are also many great disc golf courses in the Peoria area for those interested, including the newest Sycamore Valley course. We are located 15-20 minutes from 6 lively and historic small towns(Kewanee, Galva, Toulon , Wyoming, Princeville, and Brimfield) if you want that small town experience with small boutiques, coffee shops, bowling alleys, and ice cream shops. Kewanee is the largest of them, and also home to the closest Wal-Mart, Menards, Aldi, and many common chain restaurants. Feel free to ask about any other entertainment suggestions!
We are 41 minutes from Peoria International Airport and 39 minutes from downtown Peoria.

You may be able to get a taxi or Uber/Lyft from town to our house, but there is no public transportation out here. We have ample space to park your own vehicle in our driveway.
