Nice local style house in walking distance from Kappalady Kite Lagoon. Lots of space great for a group and kite gear. Clean rooms and new bathroom. Can cook your own meals, Kite House Cafe is just down the road or try tasty local food - cheap! A nice local family house in a typical Sri Lankan fishing village. There are 3 bedrooms with double beds, fan and lockable doors. There is one newly finished bathroom/ shower. Kitchen with fridge and spacious dining/chilling room. The property has a nice garden and high power water hose so you can wash all your kite gear. You can call anytime for assistance and the house owners who are lovely will be right across the lane.

Kappalady is a lovely little fishing village. The house is a short walk (5 min) from the famous kite beach and lagoon. Enjoy wild beaches. There is a small grocery shop right around the corner. In the morning and at night there is a small local restaurant serving fresh local food for unbeatable prices. A further walk down the road will bring you to Kite House: an international cafe/restaurant.
There are a few kite schools in the area and we can link you up with the best instructors if you are interested in learning or renting gear.
Everything you need is in walking distance in this area. You can take a tuk tuk if you need head else where. We can also help you rent your own tuk tuk or motorbike, just ask.

Hello! I would say i am quite an easy going person. I Love to adventure, meet new people, seen new places and try new things. I grew up in Sri Lanka but spent a long time living in the U.S.A. where i studied Environmental Science and did some conservation work. I would say i am a bit of an adventure junkie with my top interests being trekking/mountaineering, kitesurfing, snowboarding, scuba diving, motorbikes on and off road, paragliding, roaming around the jungle....... the list could go on. I love what i do and am constantly trying to learn new things or share what i know with others. Cheers! "Live free or die"
