The stable is a wonderful, quiet, peaceful retreat. Even the neighbours (chickens & a goat) respect the peaceful surroundings and are not early risers! There is everything you need to make your stay perfect, a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher which is great because who wants to wash dishes when you're away on holiday! A great bathroom & shower (fantastic thick fluffy towels) & some very welcome groceries. The Welcome book has numerous ideas for places to visit & was very helpful. The surrounding countryside has some beautiful historic medieval villages well worth visiting or just stay put with a glass of wine and enjoy the silence. It's the perfect place to unwind & get away from the rat race. We will certainly recommend here to any of our friends who are visiting this part of France.

C'était notre deuxième séjour ici et nous sommes toujours aussi ravis. Les hôtes sont très accueillants, le logement est charmant, cosy et tranquille. Nous avons hâte d'y revenir.

Dean and Trish have a beautiful gite buried away in the countyside down a very guiet lane outside Bais. Perfect for the two of us and a lovely base from which to explore the area and some lovely locations just waiting to be visited. it was very pleasant having the chickens and gots nearby, very friendly and behaving like we'd always been there. The hatching of 4 chicks on our second day was a nice surprise! Trish and Dean were a mine of helpful information as well as happy to tell their own personal story of moving to Bais and creating this lovely place! thank you so much both of you! Sandra and Mike
