The unit was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the location. It was next to the river and there were many shops to visit in walking distance. Please note that the rating for value was based on the standard price. The night before the eclipse was very high, but so was every other property except the hotels being more reasonable, and they were all sold out. It’s also not fair to compare a hotel to a home which is so much nicer. It also makes sense to capitalize on a special event, so I don’t fault her for charging a high rate for that one night. She moved it right back down to normal for our second night of stay after the eclipse was over. I wasn’t sure if anyone would be able to see that rates for our trip, so I wanted to provide an explanation. If we ever had reason to be in that area again, we would certainly be happy to stay there.

Brooke's place was easy to find and nicely decorated. My daughter appreciated getting to have a TV in her bedroom. The arcade it sits on top is no longer in business so it was very quiet. The windows overlook the main downtown street and there are heavy curtains to block out street lights. We walked to check out several shops, get coffee, have ice cream, and out to dinner. Oh, we also walked to the river. I appreciated having designated parking in a parking lot. Perfect location for anyone wanting to enjoy downtown Cape. When we needed extra towels, she offered to bring them to us immediately.

The space looked just like the pictures. Very clean, a good walkable location. Only downside was that Main Street was pretty loud at night which we expected especially on a weekend night. Would book again!
