This apartment is in a wonderful location. Close to the beach and a variety of great restaurants. They were very responsive when I had a problem and were there right away to fix it. Amazing hosts!

Excellent and responsive hosts. The apartment was very clean. It’s a hop away from Loiza and McLeary streets. It’s nice that you can also do laundry if needed. Beach chairs and towels are available and easy to retrieve. There’s a couple of pharmacies nearby, plus the hosts give you a list of suggested places for dining or grabbing a coffee. With this hot summer—and this is of course, beyond the control of the hosts—it’s a good a idea to have both the a/c and the ceiling fan on in when in the bedroom. The kitchen/living area is somewhat cooler in the morning. Also, if you do take the bus to OSJ, the 5 (on Loíza) seems more reliable and frequent than the 53 (on McLeary).

Nelson and Karen will lovely hosting very responsive with any questions. We ended up extending our trip several times such a perfect location for the beach! We will definitely be back!

Great location. Close to lots of great restaurants! Tostado, Dulcésalado, La Coffeeterra, and Lela’s were some of our faves. Expect some noise at night when you sleep since it is so close to the beach and a very happening street. Bring an extension cord or cords because the outlets are few and the ones that are there occasionally don’t work. It’s only a four min walk from the beach and the view is great!

This is our second time staying at Nelson and Karen’s apartment, and it did not disappoint! One block from the beach and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay.
