The mine, Gräne Gruva, from the 19th century is very interesting. There are several hiking trails of varying lengths in the area around the mine. The area was formed by the last ice age, which created a network of ridges and dead ice pits. Thousands of years later, the site was further shaped when feldspar and quartz began to be mined from the rock, and the traces of this are a large vertical open-cast mine. There are three hiking trails in the mining area: Green (4.6 km), Blue (3.6 km), Yellow (1.8 km). They start at the main parking lot at the open-cast mine and take you through a varied natural environment.
