Small and rustic, in a busy working farm yard, our old Pigsty’s were rebuilt and turned into three perfectly small Piggy Pens, for short or longer stays. Fully equipped inside and done out in an industrial style, they reflect the farmyard feel. Look out onto our sheep and cows, and be surrounded by birds and wildlife. The night skies can be amazing and the owls will serenade you. We are nestled under the escarpment of the Cotswold Hills, which can accessed by a footpath across our field. A small one bedroom industrial style building, in a working farmyard, done out nicely, with a cosy feel, where even the rain can lull you to sleep as it pitapats on the roof. The open plan living incorporates the sitting area, which has a sofa and 43” smart TV, and the kitchen area, which is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave and fridge freezer, enabling you to prepare delicious meals which can be eaten at the built in breakfast-bar looking out over the fields. The bedroom has a double bed with a large wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with large cupboard housing the washing machine and storage. Outside the patio doors is a privately fenced sitting area to enjoy the sun or sunset with your favourite drink, watching our sheep graze, listening to the birds or owls, and on clear nights stargazing. As it is a working farm yard, some of the outside can be in a constant need of a little TLC so may not be so picturesque! It can also get a bit muddy ( especially in winter) if you are exploring on foot, so wellies or walking boots are a must. The property looks up to the Cotswold Hills and is 100 meters from the footpath that leads you to Saintbury, (where there is a cafe) and the Cotswold Escarpment, with footpaths to Chipping Campden, Willersey and Broadway. Should you just wish to have a short stroll, we have our own small private wood you can have a meander through, and enjoy. We are about 1 mile (along the main road), from the village of Weston Subedge which has a Pub and a Village Bar, and 3 miles from Chipping Campden, which has a number of pubs, restaurants and a couple of grocery stores and a delicatessen.
The Piggie Pad was absolutely perfect for our visit to the area and Frankie was an ideal host! The location was great for walking, exploring the beautiful Cotswold villages and visiting local National Trust houses. We had brilliant fun! Thanks Frankie 🌻
We live an the base of the Cotswold Hills 1 mile out of Weston Subedge, 3 miles from Chipping Campden, 4 miles from Broadway, and 12 miles from Stratford upon Avon. At the top of the escarpment is Dovers Hill giving spectacular views over the Vale of Evesham. And just along the ridge is Broadway Tower giving stunning views to Wales.
Weston Subedge has a pub called The Seagrave Arms and a Village Bar in the Old Village Hall.
Visit Kates Coffee Shop and the salvage yard at Saintbury which can be reached just down the footpath.
Honeybourne Railways station is 2 miles away and serves the London Worcester Line. There is no public transport. We can however give lifts to and from the train station or lend push bikes to get around.

Married to Rob with a teenage son, living on a small holding with our dogs, a few cows, sheep, and chickens. We love the quiet life in the countryside, amongst nature and watching the seasons change. I enjoy spending time with family, walking, mountain biking, camping, reading , art and relaxing at home. We love good food and nothing is better than cooking a great meal, opening a bottle of wine, and sharing it with family and friends. When we are not at home we enjoy exploring new places, love Wales and Scotland and experiencing different cultures, and their food. We also love the sunshine and summer holidays spent in Croatia or Greece swimming in the sea and reading a great book is heavenly.
