The house is located on a historic street with lovely older craftsmen homes, some of which are currently being renovated and revamped. It is across the street from a school and close to shops in town so it has a ‘downtown’ feel as well as a neighborhood feel.
We like the location because it’s in the heart of downtown Columbia and walking distance to everything, but also on a quiet and peaceful street and in a neighborhood with friendly and helpful people.
Columbia is an up and coming town and is going through a lot of changes and updates, as well as staying true to its sweet, Southern, small-town feel. This street reflects that.
The neighborhood is charming but not fancy and a few blocks down the street from the house is a more industrial area. It is very safe and we find it endearing as it has an up-and coming, small town charm.
We hope you love the location as much as we do!

The house is very central and almost as close as you can get to most things you’d come to Columbia to do or see.
It’s so close that you can even hear the charming downtown clock tower chime, which we love!
The house is only a 3 minute drive or an 11 minute walk to the courthouse. Which means that’s how close you will be to Columbia’s downtown square and all the shopping and restaurants and of course, Muletown Coffee!
It is a 2 minute drive and an 11 minute walk to Bradley Mountain Coffeeshop & Headquarters.
It’s an 8 minute walk and a 2 minute drive to the Columbia arts district, which includes a coffee shop, thrift stores, restaurants and a barber shop.
Parking in Columbia isn’t too hard to find but it’s free on the street in front of the house if you want to park and walk. There is also space behind the home to park.
